At 8:00 am each Sunday morning, there is a flag raising ceremony on the
Plaza de Armas in Trujillo, complete with parade. We headed into town early this morning to
catch it before doing some local tours - and yet more ruins!
The impressive statue in the center of Plaza de Armas is dedicated to work,
the arts and liberty! It's a super big, and very nice central square.
